About the course
The ICAE Course is performed online with the assistance of an experienced instructor. The schedule is flexible and it takes place in 5 days (1 week, Monday to Friday) for a total of more than 40 hours, which include theory, tutoring, and practices.
Each day is divided as follows:
- 8 hour class combining theory and live practice (each 2 hours has a recess of 15 minutes)
- 2 hour of out-of-classroom practices
Lab practices are developed in class and complemented with recommended practices that should be done as homework. Students can ask questions by email out of training hours, which will allow them to solve doubts about the given topics.
This course to be conducted by instructors with real experience in implementations
Once completed, the student can take the certification exam online during a period of 30 days. The time for the online test is 90 minutes.
This course has a total of 13 theoretical chapters and 13 practices, all of them aimed to dominate the day-to-day operation of advanced communications. Two additional chapters are provided as “recommended reading”.

This course allows you to get the ICAE certification (Issabel Certified Advanced Engineer).
The certification exam takes place at the end of the course, and it has 100 questions; to approve it, the student must complete at least 70% correct answers.
The certification cost is included in the course price.
A certification guarantees its recipient that the organization behind the training officially endorses their acquired knowledge on Issabel.
Note: The topics include content from the Issabel ICA Adivisor course.
- It is noteworthy mentioning that taking the course does not guarantee that the student will pass the certification exam.
- Training is an important tool to pass the exam, but it is important to review the available material during and after class.
- The student may take the exam at the end of the course.
- The value of the certification exam is included in the price of this course.
- If the attendee fails, one additional chance to take the exam is given, and it will have to be scheduled for another date.
- All second attempts have a fee.
- All re-scheduled attempts have a fee.
- If the attendee cannot take the exam at the end of the training, the exam attempt will be re-scheduled.
- The certification test can be taken only at the end of the training, or at any Issabel Certified Testing Center.
- It is not the responsibility of Issabel or the Testing Center if the attendee fails the certification exam.
